About
Condie is a contemporary product design company with a background in ceramics and fine art. Founded by multi-award winning Irish artist Kevin Callaghan who holds a Masters from the Royal College of Art in London. In 2022 we are looking forward to adding a new range of ceramics to our shop.
Kevin exhibits nationally and internationally with collections in The Victoria & Albert Museum and The Science and Applied Arts Museum in London, he has a major residency coming up in Paris at The Irish Culture Centre and a new ceramic range for Condie in August 2020.

“Condie was inspired by a commission I created in a bar in Cork City, consisting of 8 large scale origami birds I produced in stainless steel, When I moved to London to do my Masters at The Royal College of Art I was commissioned by Dais contemporary for The Bluebird restaurant in Chelsea to develop a series of Condies for the restaurant.”

In the making
Condie wall pieces are laser cut in aluminium, then folded, all made of one piece of aluminium. The next stage is to sandblast them in order for the etch primer to hold on the surface of the piece. After that, they are primed and sprayed with Condie’s ever-expanding choice of colours.
Made of 90% Recycled Aluminium
Hand folded and sprayed in the studio
